Bisquick
OH Boy OH Boy.... Do I love Bisquick. Weekends seem to be the only days that I really make breakfast. Weekdays are toast, cereal, and fruit. Do I know this is lazy? Yes. Little A is perfectly content with is toast fruit breakfast so until the day comes that he asks for pancakes, I'm sticking with it. While sadly on weekends I'm still not the mother to get up and whip up something fantastic from scratch. LAZY..yep. So instead I snatch the old Betty Crocker's Creative Recipes with Bisquick. Think double blink...and go for it, without the magic chalk art or the pearls. Here is my current favorite banana muffin recipe... Where did it come from you ask? Me & Google + Husband's ideas.
+ 2 Lrg. handfuls of Chocolate Chips * Bake at 350 for 14-16mins
Olive Balls
1 C. Shredded Cheese
1/4 C. Butter Softened
1/4 tea Worcestershire Sauce
1 C. Bisquick or other baking mix
1 Jar or (5oz) Pimiento Olives
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix cheese, butter, and Worcestershire sauce; Mix in baking mix until dough forms. Pat olives dry with paper towel. Shape dough around each olive. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet until golden brown. Approx. 10 minutes.
I love these little babies, they are quick and easy. Bring them to a party or have they as a before dinner appetizer for company. Trust me they are fantastic.
